Devine Municipal Court - Payment Methods
- By Mail - Money Order or Cashier's Check
- In Person - Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check or Card (keep in mind there is a 5% processing fee on ALL Card Transactions)
- On-line - Credit/Debit Card
Pleas
- Plea of Guilty - entering a plea of guilty, means you are admitting that you committed the act that you are being charged with. A plea of guilty may be used against you in a civil suit, if you are involved in an accident.
- Plea of Nolo Contendere (No Contest) - entering a plea of No contest means that you are not contesting the charges. Keep in mind this will be a conviction on your record and a finding of guilt.
- Plea of Not Guilty - you need to appear in court to enter a plea of Not Guilty.
IF YOU PAY ONLINE BEFORE MAKING ANY OTHER ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE COURT, YOU WILL BE CONVICTED OF THE OFFENSE FOR WHICH YOU PAID AND YOUR VIOLATION WILL BE REPORTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO CONTACT THE COURT PRIOR TO PAYING TO DISCUSS OPTIONS TO KEEP IT OFF YOUR DRIVING RECORD.
